Forecast Alert: Heavy Rainfall and Soaring Temperatures in Canada

Meteorologists warn of heavy rainfall accompanied by severe flooding in Ontario, Quebec, Toronto, and coastal areas. The cause of these rains is Hurricane Beryl, which may lead to water accumulation in low-lying areas, flooding basements. Federal meteorologists warn that Eastern Ontario and Quebec could see up to 100 mm of rain during thunderstorms, with the storm moving eastward and Niagara Falls and Kingston receiving the most rainfall.

Meanwhile, Edmonton is experiencing soaring temperatures. Meteorologists in Edmonton predict today’s temperatures could reach up to 37 degrees Celsius. Calgary, British Columbia, Alberta, Western Saskatchewan, and the Atlantic Canada region are also facing record-breaking high temperatures.
